Ok, here is the story behind this pic. My older sister , :iconmurasaki-rose:, told me how in the American version, towards the end of the Battle City arc (Sorry if this spoils anything for those haven't seen it yet), that after the duel between Jounouchi and Merik, Jounouchi, for reasons I wont say, has to be hooked up to a heart monitor. And of course being hooked up to this heart monitor means that they have to lift up Jounouchi's shirt and reveal his lovely abs, and in the American version they airbrushed his abs out! What!?

So after my older sister told me about that and about what someone else did for their friend, my younger sister suggested I do a censored version of Jonouchi Gone Wild, so I did. I decided to use Yu-Gi-Oh cards for the censor bars because I thought it would be funnier. ^^ And strangely enough, the cards made this seem worse, which that in it self is funny.

Yes, this is what happens when 4Kids does this to our lovely bishonen.

This isn't the only thing that they've done that's made no sense. In Pokemon the airbrushed the text off of signs the were in English!

It's possible.

If you ever read the beginning of Yu-Gi-Oh!, or watched the OVA that takes place before the TV series(Kiba has lime-green hair in it), you see how much of a punk he and Honda are. They get into a lot of fights in the beginning of the series. It's only after Jonouchi is introduced to Duel Monsters that he realizes that he likes that more and quits fighting. So it does kind of make sense that he would look that, if you knew about what happened in the beginning of the story.
