The Trip!Ossu minásàn! Ora Aoi Ryu! As a lot of you already know I'm back from my vacation, and I had fun! I got to go ice skating, I climbed the rock wall(I couldn't feel my arms after that!
), I got to eat a lot of really good food
, and see new locations! I took lots of pictures and I'll be posting a lot them here on DA in my scraps, so watch for those!
The trip was booked with Royal Caribbean, and ship we were on was the Voyager of the Seas. This was the first big ship I've been on, so to me this was huge! It had 14 decks! The Promenade, or shopping/food area, was the size of a football field. There was also a casino below this area. All the restaurants were in the back of the ship and the theater was in the front of the ship. The fancy dinning restaurant, Carmen, that we ate at was three stories, and it was very pretty! We got to see couple Broadway shows, an ice show, a couple comedians, and a gymnast; all of which were awesome! The gymnast the performed was really funny!
He gave us an insight as to what goes through his head when every he performs some of tricks. A couple of them were "This really hurts my arms." and "This is why I don't have kids."
He was great! I had a lot of fun watching the different shows and doing some of the activities that they offered.
When I got back home, I had trouble adjusting to the ground no longer moving. I could still feel everything swaying! My dad thought is was very funny!
My older sister tried to push me over! That was fun! When I sat down at my desk, it was moving, so trying to type was interesting! That was also fun! It actually took me a few days for things to stop moving, but as I keep saying, the trip was a lot of fun!
OH! Also my work tried calling me in the day I was coming home and the after I got back! Needless to say I didn't go in because I was in no shape to work at all!
The Locations!The three places that we stop at were: Roatan, Costa Maya, and Cozumel. Our first stop was Roatan, Honduras, and not up by the beach. The ship dock at the downtown part of Roatan, which would have been too bad had Royal Caribbean provided more information than they did. What they gave us was veg at best. In order to get to the beach from where we were, we would have had to have taken a taxi and it have cost $25 per person one-way! Needless to say we didn't go. The tour guides were also kind of pushy with trying to get people to buy stuff. I didn't have as much fun as I would have like to when I was in Roatan.
The next stop was Costa Maya, Mexico, which is were I had the most fun!
The shopping area was really nice, and I managed to some bargaining and got a good deal on a really nice piece of jewelry!
We got to go to the Chocchoben Maya Ruins, which were awesome! Our tour guide that we had didn't speak English, but he tried. It was an hour to get Chocchoben and our tour guide was explaining things to us, and manage to put a lot of to sleep, but he knew he would, so he kept making jokes to keep our attention. The Ruins themselves were so cool!!

The last area we stop was Cozumel, Mexico! There we FINALLY got to go to the Beach, which cost about $30 round trip. This was my first time going to the beach, and it wasn't bad. The sand was really rough (the nice soft sand was on the other side of Cozumel), and since we went to the free beach, there were lots of rocks in the water; I scrapped my knee trying to get out of the water, that was fun.
Also, if we wanted to use the chairs, we would have had to pay $10! We didn't pay to use one of the chairs, we just sat on our beach towels and tried not to get sand in everything. After we were done hanging out at the beach we did some shopping, and went back to the ship.
